The following is a list of some of the annual public events organized by community volunteers to benefit Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.
Beats for Boobs™
Seattle, WA, October 2012
We are proud to announce the third annual Beats for Boobs™ event in Seattle, Washington! The specific date of the event is still to be determined but the event will bring the very best in art, fashion, food & music to a local venue. Beats for Boobs™ is a 100% volunteer organization. Proceeds from ticket entrance, merchandise sales, donations, raffle tickets and sponsorships will go towards supporting three Seattle-based organizations. Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is grateful to be one of the local beneficiaries of this fabulous event.
The Madhouse Project
Night Out for a Cure, April 28, 2012, 7PM
The Madhouse Project is a charitable organization dedicated to raising funds for the benefit of Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) through an annual gala event held each spring. To date, The Madhouse Project has contributed over $500,000 to help SCCA patient and family programs.
Swim Across America
Lake Washington Open Water Swim, September 8, 2012
Swim Across America, Inc. (SAA), is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment through swimming-related events. In Seattle, SAA community volunteers host an annual open-water swim in Lake Washington that benefits SCCA. To date, Swim Across America has raised nearly $250,000 for clinical research at SCCA. SCCA/Starbucks Cycling Team
SCCA/Starbucks Cycling is an amateur race team of men and women who compete at local, regional, national and international events. The team comprises doctors, engineers, marketing professionals, and everything in between. For the past three years, the team has hosted a cyclocross event that raises money for SCCA.
